Deforestation?

I've debated on whether or not to pose this question here, but as usual, posting it has won out over keeping it to myself. The thing is, I have been thinking about shaving my chest, at least for the summer. I've never done it before, so it is a major decision for me. I mean, it's the nineties, right? I know that better than anyone. It's Hammer time!

So I am looking for any opinions you may have on the subject. I am especially interested in the female response. Would you date a guy who shaves his chest? Do you prefer him to shave it? Perhaps you prefer a "don't ask, don't tell" policy. Or could you not care less? To shave or not to shave, that is the question. I would like to know what you think. Thanks.

"Now and again, I still hear some old song I don't want to. Is it the same over there where you found your new friends? Sometimes at night I still wake up and feel something missing. Maybe I'll never believe in forever again..."

  1. I don't care if you do it, but you know, it's actually better to just take the pain and wax, then you won't have to worry about having uneven, bumpy skin from shaver burn. (: But most all guys can't handle waxing like us girls can! the whole high tolerence of pain thing just doesn't exist...sooo I still think it's fine, and I don't have a problem with a guy doing that personally.

Anyway, remember to exfoliate and use a good moisturizer, or no girl will want you to take off your shirt, haha, for all the red rash and cuts! lol

    Rock on

  2. Coming from someone who used to date you, I think you should cause things got a little tangly at times =)

  3. I like men with smooth chests and hairy chests. It wouldn't bother me if a man shaved his chest ... as long as he was careful about it and didn't end up with little pieces of toliet paper stuck all over himself. :)

  5. Well, thanks for the help and opinions!

I don't know what to do. I mean, it's not like I'm Austin Powers or anything. Maybe I'll just leave it. Waxing sounds painful, especially on my tender baby-like belly. And exfoliate? I never learned to do that. I must have been absent that day. I thought that had something to do with leaves.

  6. I agree with the maintenance issue - once you do it, it will have to be maintained or you (or someone you love) will be in pain.

    Just my two cents.

Also, just wanted to mention that I like the new pic posted on the right. :-)

PS: Thanks for visiting and commenting at my site(in case you didn't read my response). Thanks again!

  7. Yeah, I guess I will leave it, for now. Sounds like a lot of work.

See, I used to have girlfriends. lol

Thanks for the compliment on my pic. It's beach season, so I figured I'd change it. That's the "summer me" :-)

  8. Well I can say from expereince (not my own...but my ex's...lol) it's better to just trim...
once you shave you could get ingrown hairs on your chest, you would have to stay ontop of it, it will be itchy as hell when it starts growing back... I didn't get to read thru all of the coments so forgive me if I'm doing a repeat here....
I personally prefer some fuzz on my man...
and damn i gotta say you are a cutie ;)

Anyway, I say don't do it... keep the fuzz and if it gets "tangly" you can trim it down instead :D
