Most all the little towns around here have a Christmas parade. Ours is mostly the local high school marching bands, a few floats, several tons of people riding horses and four-wheelers, and a fire engine with Santa on it. I may just check out the CD. Love holiday music.

"I have a ton of wonderful, beautiful single girlfriends I'd love to hook up with you."

In that case, I wish I was closer, too ;-)Bonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10096591352278195759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6006953.post-1133193041920625122005-11-28T09:50:00.000-06:002005-11-28T09:50:00.000-06:00You can have my cold front, Lass! I just have to pick the kiddos up from school.

Bone- My favorite Christmas movie used to be "It's a Wonderful Life", but I'm finding "A Christmas Story" and now "Elf" are edging up there. Maybe because I have so much family turmoil, I just like to laugh over the holidays. "Buddy the Elf, what's your favorite color?" and "I want an official Red Ryder Carbine-action 200-shot range-model air rifle with a compass in the stock and this thing which tells time".
Also- in my hometown, we have a Lighted Christmas parade on our town square. All of the store fronts do live windows (this year's theme was Christmas movies). There is caroling, a chill in the air, heavy scent of pine, a "Rockerfeller" Christmas tree on the courthouse lawn (courthouse was built in 1896). They even have free cocoa, chili, and popcorn. If you really want to savor the holiday spirit, I recommend the Trans Siberian Orchestra's Christmas CD. It's a rock-style symphony that is really powerful and beautiful. You'll love it.

Pia- you hit the nail on the head. Bone's a rare breed. The caring and in tune male. I thought only my husband was that good. Glad to know someone else will get the fairytale too. I even found the street where they moved to at the end and tried to make my parents buy a house on the block

Didn't matter that there were no houses for sale; I wanted one on that block. We were actually looking for a house so my parents didn't laugh. At least not when I was around

Can not believe that you have GH linkage. No, no, no.
