Sixty Bucks

Over the weekend, someone offered me an extra ticket they had to the George Strait concert this weekend for $60, which I believe is face value. So what will I do? Decisions, decisions. I think I will probably end up going, although as I get older, it seems like I am able to talk myself out of things like this more and more. Sitting at home on the couch has really become way too appealing to me recently.

On the downside, the opening acts are Dierks Bentley and Amber Dotson, two people I have barely even heard of, and do not really care to listen to for an hour or more. Also, I have the Bama ticket donation due at the end of this month, so I probably need to save my money. On the other hand, I don't have anything else to do. I didn't go to any concerts last year. And I could always use the "I'm not dating anyone" logic, which says, "Pretend that you have a date this weekend, and the money you're spending on yourself is equal to what you'd otherwise be spending on her." (By the way, this is one of the basic core principles of my economic system.) Yes. Yes. I think that is the choice I will most likely go with. This pseudo-logical thought process has been brought to you by my brain. Making mostly the wrong decision for 31 years: My Brain.

"She still lives with her Mom outside the city, down that street about a half a mile. And all her friends tell her she's so pretty, but she'd be a whole lot prettier if she smiled once in a while..."
